How to make Wildlife Assistance Kits

  1. Two (2) standard pillowcases (flannelette if possible), folded into quarters.

2. Ribbon/Tape 60-70cm long with a hole cut near the top.

Non-adhesive tape can be purchased from Bunnings, or you can cut a piece of brightly coloured material and use that instead.

3. Add Sticker.

Instead of a sticker you can write the words “WILDLIFE RESCUER ATTENDING” with a permanent marker on your ribbon or tape at the opposite end to the hole.

4. Two lengths of twine/string, each 115cm long.

5. One info sheet, preferably laminated. (Approx. 21cm x 14cm).

You can download the info sheet above. This is a word document so it can be modified. You may wish to use your own logo and the phone numbers might need to be changed depending on your location.

Please check these details carefully.

6. How your wildlife assistance kit should look when it’s completed!
