Primary Roo Rangers Program

Designed for children aged 8 – 12, these excercises will facilitate engaging group discussion about the macropod family, their unique attributes and the threats they face. Children will enjoy the chance to become a Roo Ranger and learn the important role that kangaroos play in the history and ecology of Australia.

"Thank you so very much. With 40 little 8/9 years olds they can be such a wonderful and persuasive influence. Many of our teachers had no idea the kangaroo was so incredibly amazing. Now we have all these learning resources we will run this program again next year. The children really loved it and gained so much knowledge. Thanks again!"

PRIMARY ROO RANGER ACTIVITIES

There are a combination of reading/discussion exercises and activites. Enjoy these as a group over 2-3 class sessions. Once these activities are completed, your class is ready to be officially certified as Roo Rangers!

It’s so important to acknowledge learning achievements.

Download the certificate template for your new Roo Rangers and a certificate of appreciation for teachers and educators.
